Hornets Officially Lost To Opponents 83 : 32 Against Suns After The Threat…

Bradley Beal is Set to Play Against Hornets - Burn City Sports

Bradley Beal will make his way back into the starting lineup for the Suns against the Charlotte Hornets tonight, just in time for the game.

Due to a right ankle sprain he sustained in the first quarter of a game against the Knicks, Beal has missed the previous five games. This season, the three-time All-Star has experienced numerous setbacks, including this injury.

In all, Beal has only appeared in five complete games for the Suns due to three separate absences. Phoenix’s big three have only played one game together as a result, and it was a defeat.Jusuf Nurkic expressed his excitement on social media in response to the news that Beal will be playing tonight against the Hornets.

The Hornets have not won since December 8th against the Toronto Raptors, and they are presently on a nine-game losing streak. They have a 3-11 record this season away from home.

Bradley Beal set to return from injury for the Suns vs Hornets' Friday game | Marca

The Phoenix Suns announced that guard Bradley Beal (right ankle sprain) is now expected to play in Friday’s home game against the Charlotte Hornets.

John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports first revealed that Beal was getting close to returning, mentioning on Wednesday that he might be able to participate in one of the final games of December.

Beal will start alongside Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Jusuf Nurkic and Grayson Allen.

Despite the team saying on Dec. 18 that Beal wouldn’t be re-evaluated until “the start of January,” signs were pointing to a possible return with those reports and an official injury report listing of questionable as of Thursday afternoon.

Phoenix (15-15) plays the Hornets on Friday and the Orlando Magic on Sunday before a matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers on New Year’s Day. That is the front end of a six-game homestand that ends with games against the Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies.

Beal sprained his right ankle in a loss to the New York Knicks on Dec. 15 as Donte DiVincenzo encroached on Beal’s landing zone coming down from a made three-pointer. Beal stayed in to complete the four-point play at the foul line before exiting and not returning.

The Suns’ Big 3—Beal, Booker, and Durant—have only combined for 24 minutes of play over the course of five quarters this season, but they still have a 24.7 net rating, which includes a 132.7 offensive rating.

As an example, the league’s top teams are the Indiana Pacers with a 121.8 offensive rating and the Philadelphia 76ers with an 11.2 net rating.

Beal is averaging 14.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 25.2 minutes per game this season, with a career-high shooting percentage of 42.9% from beyond the arc in six games.

Phoenix is coming off its best win of the month, a 129-113 victory over the Houston Rockets, who are still a half game ahead of the Suns in the Western Conference standings, following a 12-game stretch in which the Suns went 3-9.

Before recent games, including the victory over Houston, Beal has been warming up before the game.

However, head coach Frank Vogel ruled out Josh Okogie (ankle) and Nassir Little (knee) for the Suns’ game on Friday. During the Dallas Mavericks game on Christmas, Okogie sprained his ankle.
