Raiders Defensive Grades of the 2024 Season……
The Las Vegas Raiders defence undoubtedly placed among the top ten defences in the NFL during the 2023–2024 regular season. The Raiders defence concluded the 2023–24 NFL regular season ranked eighth in the league, according to Pro Football Focus. Defensive end Maxx Crosby led the five Raiders that concluded the 2023–24 NFL regular season with excellent Pro Football Focus defensive grades. On the Silver and Black defence, Crosby holds the top defensive PFF grade. He had a 92.0 PFF defensive grade, a 92.7 run defence grade, and an 83.9 pass rush grade at the end of the season. Crosby is ranked as the fourth-best edge rusher in the NFL by Pro Football Focus. Cosby concluded his fifth season with the Silver and Black with 17 games played, 14.5 sacks, 35 assists, 55 solo tackles, and one fumble recovery.
Malcolm Koonce, an edge rusher for the Raiders, ranks second in the Silver and Black defence according to PFF. He had a defensive PFF grade of 81.3 at the end of the season, a run defence grade of 66.3, and a pass rush grade of 78.9. Koonce is ranked as the 21st-best edge rusher in the NFL by Pro Football Focus. In 17 games this season, he finished with 32 solo tackles, 11 assists, and eight sacks. Robert Spillane, a linebacker, is identified as having the third-highest PFF defensive rating for the defences of the Silver and Black. His defensive PFF grade at the end of the season was 77.0, his run defence was 89.0, and his pass-rushing grade was 87.1. Spillane is ranked as the 18th best linebacker in the NFL by Pro Football Focus. Spillane concluded his first campaign with the Silver and Black with 17 games played, 82 solo tackles, 66 assists, three and a half sacks, one fumble recovery, and three interceptions.
For the Silver and Black defence, cornerback Jack Jones has the fourth-highest PFF defensive grade. His final season grades from PFF were 71.6 for defence, 69.4 for pass rush, and 71.9 for coverage. Jones is rated as the 31st-best cornerback in the NFL by Pro Football Focus. In seven games for the Silver and Black, he concluded the season with 20 solo tackles, five assists, and two interceptions. Finally, Tre’von Moehrig, a cornerback for the Silver and Black defence, has the fourth-highest PFF defensive grade.. His final season grades from PFF were 70.2 for defence, 64.7 for pass rush, and 68.0 for coverage. Moehring is ranked as the 33rd-best cornerback in the NFL by Pro Football Focus. Throughout the course of 17 games, he recorded 65 solo tackles, 18 assists, two sacks, and three interceptions.
