Warriors Coach sends A Key Star Player Off 2024 Season Due To Injury State…

Is Steph Curry playing tonight (Mar.17) versus the Atlanta Hawks?

The Golden State Warriors are currently occupying the tenth spot in the Western Conference and for the season, they are 34-30. Even with the squad’s record and recent injury to their superstar, Stephen Curry, head coach Steve Kerr is of the opinion that they can make a postseason run.

The prominent head coach shared his thoughts via 95.7 The Game. He mentioned, “I think we have won 16 of our last 21 and in that stretch we have barely moved in the standings because everybody else is playing well also. So, it’s just tough, the West is loaded this year up and down the conference you see talented well coached teams and we just have to keep plugging away.”

He further continued, “I have no doubt that we can finish this season really strong and you never know how things break. A year ago we were in the playin and at this point and we finished strong and I think we won our last five or six games and broke through and got to six.”

“That made a difference for us. The year before, I think we were kind of in that 3, 4, 5, 6, range and finished strong and got all the way to 3 and setup a favorable matchup that helped us win a championship. So, I just feel like, you know the season is long and it really is a marathon and you’re going to have stretches in both directions during the season.”

“Things either go well or they don’t and I feel really strongly that our team is primed if we can really stay healthy here down the stretch, get Steph back. I feel like we can make a really good run and you never know what happens if you do that you could end up in a good spot and set you up for a good playoff run.”

In the last game, the Warriors defeated the San Antonio Spurs with a concluding score of 112-102. Their superstar icon, Stephen Curry, has missed the past two games due to a sprained ankle.

However, according to ESPN, he has been allowed to participate in on-court activities and will also join the team’s practice session, which will be held on Friday. However, Curry will also miss the game against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Warriors are still moving ahead in the season with eminence and will once again try to achieve their earlier feats. The major components of the Warriors, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, will be looking forward to how they can convert the remaining opportunities in their favor.

NBA Superstar Stephen Curry Open to Running for President…

NBA superstar Stephen Curry said in an interview that aired on March 12 that he is open to the idea of running for office, even for the presidency.

“Maybe,” said the Golden State Warriors shooting guard on “CBS Mornings” when asked if he would run for the White House.

“I have an interest in leveraging every part of my influence for good in a way that I can, so if that’s the way to do it, then, I’m not saying the presidency,” he said before being interrupted by the interviewer who reminded him that he said “maybe” to running for president.

He will not be run in 2028, he said.

Mr. Curry was on CBS to promote his second fictional children’s book “I Am Extraordinary,” which tells the story of a girl named Zoe who gains confidence despite having to wear hearing aids. She shows it is okay to be different and she ends up with playing for her school’s soccer team.

This is not the first time Mr. Curry, one of the greatest three-point shooters of all time, has chimed in on politics.

After the Warriors won the 2017 NBA finals, Mr. Curry voiced his objection to going to the White House for the ceremonial celebration they host for teams winning their championships.

“I don’t want to go,” he told to reporters. In response, then-President Donald Trump revoked the invitation.

“Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team. Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!” he posted on Twitter.

In a statement, the Warriors accepted that they were disinvited by President Trump but acknowledged his right to express himself. They said they would “use our trip to the nation’s capital … to celebrate equality, diversity, and inclusion, the values that we embrace as an organization.”

Mr. Curry, a liberal, objected to affordable housing being built near his residence in California last year, with both he and his wife, Ayesha Curry, citing “major concerns in terms of both privacy and safety,” according to The Washington Free Beacon

“We hesitate to add to the ‘not in our backyard’ (literally) rhetoric, but we wanted to send a note before today’s meeting,” the couple wrote in a letter to the city of Atherton in California. “Safety and privacy for us and our kids continues to be our top priority. Should that not be sufficient for the state, we ask that the town commits to investing in considerably taller fencing and landscaping to block sight lines onto our family’s property,” they added.

Mr. Curry endorsed President Joe Biden in 2020.

The year before, Mr. Curry declined to condemn China for its subversion of Hong Kong’s sovereignty.

“I think this one, it’s a league-wide situation and our presence in China is just a different conversation than coach [Steve Kerr] talking about gun violence or gender equality, things that for us as being [sic] spokespeople for people who can’t speak for themselves within our communities, that that makes a huge impact,” he told reporters.

“This situation—is a huge weight and gravity to it—and there remain some things that need to be sorted out,” he continued. “I just don’t know enough about Chinese history and how that’s influenced modern society today in that interaction to speak on it. So that’s just where we’re at. It’s not going away. So we’ll come back to it.”

In 2015, Mr. Curry appeared in an ad by the pro-gun control group Everytown For Gun Safety.

“I have a voice and I want to share it and stop gun violence in its entirety. I heard about a shooting involving a 3-year-old girl over the summer. My daughter Riley’s that age,” he said.

“Whatever we can do to hopefully change our culture, that’s what we’re here for,” he continued. “I have a voice, and I want to share it and stop gun violence in its entirety.”
