Detroit Lions Injury Report: 1 Players ruled OUT, 1 DOUBTFUL for matchup vs. Saints

On Sunday afternoon, the Detroit Lions will look to bounce back from a tough 29-22 Thanksgiving Day loss when they hit the road to take on the New Orleans Saints. With a win, the Lions will move to 9-3 on the season and further establish their dominance in the NFC North, while a loss would have quite a few people worrying if the team is for real. The Lions have released their final injury report of the week, and as you can see below, they are dealing with multiple issues.

Who is on the Detroit Lions Injury Report?

Below is the Lions’ final injury report of the week, and as you can see, Alex Anzalone has already been ruled OUT for Sunday’s game against the Saints.

Bottom Line: Just Win

At this point in the season, there is not a single 53-man roster in the league that is 100% healthy, and the Lions are no exception to the rule. With that being said, Detroit must find a way to bounce back from their loss against the Packers. Dan Campbell has done an excellent job getting his players prepared for a game after a loss, and we sure hope that is the case this coming Sunday against the Saints

Key Saints WR Could Be Back For Lions Game

Detroit Lions at New Orleans Saints odds, picks and predictions

After consecutive losses to the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons, the New Orleans Saints desperately need a win to get back on track and stay alive in the hunt for the NFC South division title, which might be the only way Derek Carr and company become playoff-bound.

In Week 13, the Saints will go head-to-head against the Detroit Lions at Caesars Superdome in the Big Easy, and the team might get one of their best offensive weapons back on the field in order to stay competitive with one of the best teams in the NFC.

Star wide receiver Chris Olave has been in concussion protocol, but he may be that much closer to clearing that protocol after being a full participant in practice on Friday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Currently, Olave is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Lions, and if he’s able to get on the field and be productive, it gives the Saints a much better chance of pulling off the upset and improving their record to 6-6 on the season, which keeps them in the playoff hunt in the NFC.

In 11 games played so far this season, Olave has caught 63 passes for 771 yards and three touchdowns while becoming one of Carr’s favorite targets in the passing game in New Orleans.

Obviously, a threat like Olave downfield will give the Saints a chance to get the best of the Lions defense that is still trying to figure out why they lost to the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving Day.
