Florida has some ground to make up here, but will have a chance to host the talented wide out on Tuesday

The Florida Gators already had a strong list of visitors that have been expected on campus Tuesday. One more name that has informed Swamp247 of their plans to be in town that day is one of the very best in the state, and that’s Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench. He also added that he plans to arrive in town around 12:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, and will join a handful of prospects from the talented South Florida Express 7on7 team.

Florida has hosted Ffrench on campus, but it’s been a while since he made his way down to The Swamp. Florida has not been mentioned as much in his recruitment since the start of the new year, but is a name the Gators have been very high on this cycle. He last visited Gainesville in June of 2023, which came before a commitment to Alabama. He’s since backed off that verbal pledge due to the coaching change in Tuscaloosa.

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas edge Richard Scott last visited Florida back in February, and came away with an offer after his time there. Scott was back up in Gainesville once again this past Saturday to see the Gators final scrimmage of spring football before their spring football game. The main reason for picking that date was to catch the Gators scrimmage, so he could see the team in a game-like atmosphere.

Aside from that, Scott was also able to see some of the pre-practice activities, as well as seeing a bit more of the campus.
