It was announced on Friday night that Michigan is the only university in the nation with two players in the top ten of the Heisman Trophy voting this year, as the postseason honors for the Michigan Wolverines keep coming in. Those two players are JJ McCarthy and Blake Corum, which is not surprising.
McCarthy has undoubtedly lived up to the hype surrounding him as a five-star recruit. He was also recently named the Big Ten Quarterback of the Year. The junior quarterback has a perfect 25-0 record in regular season play in his two seasons as a starter, which includes 2-0 records against Ohio State, 2-0 records against Penn State, and 2-0 records against Michigan State. McCarthy has also contributed to Ann Arbor winning two straight Big Ten Championships as a starter.
It remains to be seen whether or not the talented QB will return for his senior season, but there’s little doubt that he’s already established himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play at the University of Michigan.
Senior running back Blake Corum of Michigan placed ninth in the Heisman voting during his final season. Corum has already set a record for the most touchdown runs in a single season with 22, and he is only one touchdown away from becoming the all-time leader in career rushing touchdowns. Corum still has at least one game left to play as a Wolverine.
Regardless of how the rest of this season plays out, Corum has already established himself as arguably the greatest running back to ever wear the winged helmet.

Report: Michigan in contact with former Texas A&M OL Chase Bisontis - Maize n Brew

College coaches across the nation are actively seeking both transfer portal targets and high school recruits as Michigan gets ready to play Alabama in the Rose Bowl. Texas A&M offensive lineman Chase Bisontis is the most recent recruit to be linked to Michigan through the portal.

After completing his freshman season this year, Bisontis opted to enter the transfer portal, along with many other Aggies following the departure of head coach Jimbo Fisher. Impressively, Bisontis started at right tackle for each of Texas A&M’s 12 regular season games as a true freshman.

It should come as no surprise with his performance this season that Bisontis is highly ranked in the top-10 of both On3 and 247Sports’s transfer portal player rankings.
