Isiah Pacheco Is Not In Right Now Due To Shoulder Surgery, But He Should Be Back Next Week….

Isiah Pacheco, the Chiefs’ leading rusher, won’t be available for Sunday’s game against the Patriots, but he should be available sooner rather than later.

Pacheco had a clean-up shoulder procedure, and head coach Andy Reid announced in his Friday press conference that he will miss Week 15. Pacheco had shoulder surgery in the off-season before.

“Some items that were floaters in there were removed by [Pacheco]. But he’s doing OK, according to Reid. He’s moving around nicely, so we should be able to get him back sometime next week.

Reid mentioned that Pacheco had undergone the procedure and was already participating in walk-throughs in Kansas City.

Donovan Smith, a left tackle, will also miss his second straight game due to a neck injury. This week, he did not practice. Wanya Morris will now likely start at left tackle once more as a result.

Security Reid stated that Mike Edwards (illness) recovered and resumed practicing.

Reid stated that even though receiver Justyn Ross is back from suspension and participated fully in practice, the Chiefs won’t use him until the following week.

“I felt he performed admirably. Indeed, Reid said, he moved around nicely. It was beneficial for him to go out and labor. He completed every scout team rep. That was therefore advantageous for him.
