$700,676 Million 5-Star Hits The Seminoles Team With Gratitude And Joins New Team-Mates…

Florida State is No. 4 in the Playoff — Not time to care yet but we're close - Tomahawk Nation

Over the course of the weekend, Florida State’s coaching staff welcomed nine official visitors. On Wednesday, December 20, the mix of high school targets and big-time transfers arrived in Tallahassee for the last time before the Early Signing Period began.

Many across the nation have doubted whether five-star defensive back KJ Bolden, one of the best recruits in the country, would stay and sign with the Seminoles since he committed to the team in August. After his final visit to Florida State prior to signing a contract, Bolden reiterated his commitment to his ideal university.

Bolden said, “Come on man, you know that,” to Dustin Lewis of NoleGameday. “I really can’t talk about that too much. My documents [Letter of Intent] arrived today.”

There were some rumors floating around that Bolden planned to visit another program before the NCAA-mandated dead period went into effect. He shot down the rumblings with a matter-of-fact answer.

“Nah, I’m not doing that,” Bolden claimed.

The bulk of the visit was focused on Bolden feeling more comfortable at the program that he plans to call home. The coaching staff and players did a multitude of activities to further their bonds with one another.

“Just building more relationships with the team, coach Norvell and all the guys,” Bolden said. “We just did a lot of things, a lot of bonding things, even learning plays, stuff like that. Just little things to hit on. I come down here a lot so the things I haven’t hit on.”

The Georgia native hung out with the majority of the defensive backfield while on his trip, including Conrad Hussey, Shyheim Brown, and Kevin Knowles. Bolden also spent some time around Hykeem Williams, a fellow former five-star prospect.

It’s awesome. They constantly check on me and make sure I’m locked in, and they all message me on social media and other stuff,” Bolden remarked. “It’s always great just to get back with them, spend time, and get to know them guys and them getting to know me.”

Bolden has built strong relationships with multiple members of #Tribe24 such as quarterback Luke Kromenhoek and running back Kam Davis. He was around cornerback Jamari Howard and wide receiver Lawayne McCoy the most during his official visit.’

“Luke, my guy, you act in a way that most people wouldn’t expect. But Luke is a decent man. Luke is my love. Kam is a father figure. He exudes an old-fashioned, carefree vibe. Love being around Kam, for sure,” Bolden remarked. “I spent the entire time with Lawayne and Jamari. There they are, my boys, seven on seven, and we’ve always got it together. Getting down with them always makes me feel good and strengthens my bond with them.

In the 2024 class, 247Sports ranks the 6-foot-1, 185-pound player as the No. 11 overall prospect, the No. 1 S, and the No. 2 recruit in the state of Georgia.
