Texans All-Star Player Has Being Sent Off Season Due To A Brutal Sack…

Will Levis Injury: Titans QB injures ankle vs Texans - A Sea Of Blue

Will Levis’ promising rookie season just hit a setback due to what looked like a scary injury in the Tennessee Titans’ overtime loss to the Houston Texans.

Thankfully, it doesn’t appear to be serious.

The Titans selected Levis in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and he became their starting quarterback halfway through the campaign. On October 29, in his NFL debut, he passed for four touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons. Since then, he has thrown for over 200 yards in four of his eight starts while recording two multi-touchdown games.

Unfortunately, Levis took a hard hit against the Texans in Week 15 that knocked him out of the game, and upon first glance, it looked like a serious injury.

Levis did manage to escape on his own after spending a few minutes on the ground, so things might turn out better than anticipated as well. Although the full extent of the injury is unknown, it doesn’t seem to be too serious because he participated in postgame interviews with the media.

The Titans have the Seahawks on deck for Week 16, though Tennessee has been eliminated from playoff contention with the loss.

The young quarterback is in line to start throughout the rest of the season if healthy, and at just 24 years old, the reps could be vital.

Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis Leaves Game vs. Houston Texans Due to Injury

Titans QB Will Levis hopes leg injury not as bad as initially feared in OT loss - ABC News

Today’s overtime loss to the Houston Texans was devastating for the Tennessee Titans. That might not have been their only heartbreaking defeat in that match, though. They could end up losing their starting quarterback for an extended period of time.

As a result, Levis had to go to the locker room and did not return to the game. The Titans went on to lose to the Texans. Going into this game, Levis had 1,593 passing yards and eight touchdowns in seven games. Today, Levis was 17-26 with 199 passing yards and an interception.

The Tennessee Titans are virtually out of the playoffs after their loss today. With three games left, they have a 5-9 record, while several teams ahead of them have 8-6 records. The Titans may be cautious with Levis for the remainder of the season even if his injury is not game-ending. This is because of where they are in the standings.
