Angry Fans Letter To The Head Coach About QB…

New York Giants Fans Angry About Starting Quarterback For Week 14 - Gridiron Heroics

Throughout the entire season, the quarterback position has been difficult for the New York Giants. Before he injured his ACL and was sidelined for the remainder of the season in 2023, Daniel Jones was the team’s starter. Tyrod Taylor replaced Jones in the starting lineup after he was injured, but he was hurt in week eight against the New York Jets and hasn’t played since. Since then, Tommy DeVito has been the Giants’ starting center. Fans recently learned who will start this week against the Green Bay Packers.

Tommy DeVito will continue to start for the Giants at quarterback in Monday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers at MetLife Stadium.

New York will start DeVito this Monday night football, despite Taylor’s return to practice this week from the injured reserve, and Giants fans are not pleased with the selection. DeVito has accumulated 697 passing yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions since returning to action in late October. New York fans don’t think the DeVito should play out the 2023 season and are urging the team to replace the quarterback right away.

Really ?

Make sure you have an offensive line to safeguard your investment if you pay a quarterback. It’s funny how this basic life rule was disregarded by both NY teams.

Although many fans don’t think highly of the rookie quarterback, others argue that he is the best choice available and that, considering the circumstances, he has been playing well. There’s merit to the argument made by supporters that DeVito would perform better if the Giants had an offensive line capable of guarding their quarterback. With 69 sacks allowed through 13 weeks of play, the team leads the NFL in sacks allowed, which is a major factor in the absence of their starting two quarterbacks due to injuries.
