Dak Prescott finds CeeDee Lamb to give Dallas Cowboys early lead over Philadelphia Eagles…

FRISCO: CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott are hiding something. Or, if you prefer, had a secret. After all, it’s out of the bag and available for viewing nearly every NFL weekend. That little known fact, along with a peculiar self-description?

“We’re both are conquerors,” Dallas Cowboys QB Prescott said of himself and top target receiver Lamb. “We want to overcome whatever it is, whatever that situation or problem is.”

And as they approach one of the biggest games of the NFL season as on Sunday night they play host as the Philadelphia Eagles, so many of those “problems” have been … well, conquered.

Prescott is tired of answering questions about the 49ers game, but the Cowboys have won six straight since. During that time, Prescott has completed 70.5 percent of his passes for 2,173 yards and 21 touchdowns against just two interceptions. When you add in his 121.5 quarterback rating over the course of the seven games, Prescott is undoubtedly a strong contender for MVP.

For the season, Dak has 3,234 passing yards, 26 touchdowns and just six interceptions.

Lamb, meanwhile, has during this time recorded five 100-yard games and four games with double-digit catches. In the seven games, he’s been good for 824 yards on 63 catches with six touchdowns.

Lamb this year has 90 catches for 1,182 yards and seven touchdowns.

“Conquers”? Yes, and something else, Lamb said.

“I’d say we’re both winners,” Lamb said. “We’re willing to do whatever it (takes).”

To stay in the running for the top NFC playoff spot, the Cowboys need to defeat the Eagles 9–3 in order to maintain their winning record. Dallas has every reason to be confident when they play Philadelphia at AT&T Stadium because they have defeated the Eagles five straight times and have won 14 games overall.

Another fundamental factor contributing to that confidence is Dak to Lamb.

Dak remarked, “Lamb does everything the right way.”

According to Lamb, Dak is all about “staying true to each other and being on the same page.”
