Jim Harbaugh Departs Michigan At Last Having Them Lost ’10-0′ In The Last Game…

Answering ALL your questions pertaining to Michigan Wolverines football HC Jim Harbaugh & his contract.

The Michigan Wolverines are hard at work getting ready for their College Football Playoff encounter with Alabama. But they also have to deal with the transfer portal, just like any other college football team does at the moment. Another running back has registered on the portal following the loss of CJ Stokes a few weeks prior. Leon Franklin, a walk-on running back, declared he was going to the transfer portal.

Michigan Wolverines Lose RB Leon Franklin To The Transfer Portal

Franklin has been a part of the program since 2021, but his career statistics are not very impressive. Franklin has just 75 rushing yards in 29 games over the course of three years. Being behind Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards has everything to do with this, and it has nothing to do with Franklin’s play in particular. After learning that two well-known running backs would be joining in the 2024 class, Franklin made the decision to look for playing time elsewhere. For many walk-ons who are trying to make an impression in their little playing time, it is an unfortunate reality.

Michigan 2024 Outlook

For the Wolverines, anything after this season is highly uncertain. There are two major issues that need to be resolved. The NCAA’s probe into the sign-stealing incident is the first. The 2024 season will be significantly impacted by whatever punishment the NCAA decides to impose. What will happen to Jim Harbaugh is the other. NFL teams are already contacting to find out how interested they are, and the program will look drastically different if Harbaugh leaves. Michigan wants to maintain its winning streak in the Big Ten by avoiding a severe penalty and keeping Harbaugh.

In 2023, will the Michigan Wolverines succeed? First, they must defeat Alabama, which is no simple feat.

The Michigan Wolverines are the best team in the country, but they will need to replace important players who are leaving for the NFL if they want to be the best team in 2024. Cornelius Johnson and Roman Wilson, the top two wide receivers from Michigan, will both be selecting in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Fans of Michigan were asked what positions the team should target in the transfer portal in this week’s SB Nation Reacts.

Michigan should target a receiver, according to 48% of supporters, a cornerback, 29%, and a quarterback, 16% of respondents.

We also asked Michigan supporters what they believed was more important for the Wolverines—high school recruiting or the transfer portal.

While 24 percent of fans believe that high school recruiting is the best option, the majority of fans, 67 percent, believe that using the portal and high school recruiting are equally important. Only 9% of respondents believe that the transfer portal is more significant.
