Packers’ All-Star Player Slums To Death While Playing With Lacerated Kidney Due To Pains…

Packers' Luke Musgrave details finishing game with lacerated kidney: 'It's football, you play with pain'

Luke Musgrave, a rookie tight end for the Green Bay Packers, is recuperating nicely from a ruptured kidney. A wound that, amazingly, he managed to play through.

A month has passed since Musgrave’s awkward landing on the ball after he caught a 10-yard pass during the Week 11 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, but he still managed to finish the game.

According to Packers.com, Musgrave stated, “Not horrible.”

All of this has to do with football, but I knew there was probably an issue. Because you had to play through the pain, it usually gets worse after the game.

The 23-year-old also realized it was a kidney problem very quickly.

The medical staff at Packers then advised him to visit the emergency room right away.

Indeed, he admitted, it wasn’t very good.

Luckily he didn’t need emergency surgery, however.

For now, he’s going to continue listening to the doctors as he hopes to return this season. His goal is to play as soon as possible.

“There is no doubt that internal organ damage differs slightly from a typical football injury. Good team, good people—there are many positive things to say about the training room. We seem to be headed in the right direction, and it went well.

Will Packers provide boost for Panthers QB Bryce Young?

New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield have won the past two NFC Offensive Player of the Week awards.

Both quarterbacks won the award with the Green Bay Packers as their opponent.

On Sunday, the Packers play the Carolina Panthers. Does that put Carolina quarterback Bryce Young in line to be the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 16 of the NFL’s 2023 season?

Maybe if the rookie can play as he did on the Panthers’ final possession of Sunday’s 9-7 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. The former Alabama All-American completed all five of his passes for 68 yards as Carolina moved from its 5-yard line into possession for a 23-yard, game-winning field goal on the final snap.

Regarding the Packers’ recent defensive setbacks, offensive coordinator Thomas Brown of the Panthers stated, “It’s about us being able to show up and play our game.” “I believe we can put together some drives if we can be consistent and kind of build upon that last drive in particular, which kind of gave you a glimpse of what happens when we actually execute, are in sync, and are making plays across the board. Always, the focus is on ourselves rather than anyone else.

But if the Carolina offense can march the length of the field in an extended series that used 7:35 of clock time to grab the victory, why are the Panthers averaging 14.7 points per game in the 2023 NFL season?

Regarding Carolina’s game-winning drive against Atlanta, Brown admitted, “to be honest with you, I had a couple of mixed emotions. There were missed opportunities earlier in the game and the fact that we could have been doing this the entire game.”
