Ravens Manly Player Ruled Out Of Season Due To Grasping His Knee…

After making a number of huge plays on Monday to bolster his case for defensive player of the year, Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton went down and clutched his knee for the second time in three weeks late in Baltimore’s 33-19 victory over the 49ers.Hamilton recorded three pass defenses, five tackles, and two interceptions against San Francisco, one of the league’s best offenses.

However, Hamilton did not get up after making his fifth tackle with 9:43 remaining in the game, which ended a 22-yard play by Brandon Aiyuk. Hamilton grimaced while holding his knee.

He was eventually able to walk off to the injury tent but spent the rest of the game standing on the sidelines. The Ravens are optimistic the injury is not serious.

“It doesn’t look bad for anybody,” coach John Harbaugh said after the game. “We will see tomorrow to ensure that. We’re fairly optimistic about everybody.”

Hamilton, a second-year player, has become one of the Ravens’ best defensive players. His ability to stuff the run, make open-field tackles, drop into coverage, and intimidate quarterbacks on blitzes is a major factor in the Ravens’ success. And good luck crossing the field to his side with a screen pass.

After suffering a knee injury against the Rams, Hamilton was back on the field for the team’s first practice following the game. Wearing a knee brace during practice all week, he made a comeback against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the following game.

Weakened in the trenches

In addition to the two offensive linemen who were injured against the 49ers, there are now two injured Ravens.
