Florida State Seminoles set to sign $40 Million over….

Florida State has sued the ACC, setting the stage for a fight to leave over revenue concerns

Multiple former members of Florida State’s roster are hoping to hear their names called during the 2024 NFL Draft. However, before the selections get underway in April, there will be a series of all-star games, workouts, and the combine for potential prospects to solidify their standing. On Thursday morning, the East-West Shrine Bowl announced that former Seminole star quarterback Jordan Travis accepted an invitation to attend the event. The Director of Football Operations for the game, Eric Galko, is looking forward to hosting him in Dallas.

“Jordan is on his way to get back to 100%, and we’re thankful we can help him take advantage of our best-in-class NFL interview process to show scouts, coaches and GMs who he is,” Galko wrote.

It remains to be seen how much Travis will be able to participate throughout the week as he recovers from a season-ending leg injury. With that being said, he’s continued to take steps during the rehab process and everyone knows how hard he works on and off the field. Travis won’t be the only former Seminole at the Shrine Bowl as cornerback Renardo Green and cornerback Jarrian Jones previously accepted their invites.

During his six years at the college level, Travis appeared in 49 games, with 38 starts, and completed 637/1,027 passes for 8,715 yards with 66 touchdowns to 20 interceptions. He also rushed 417 times for 1,950 yards with 31 more scores while adding three catches for 11 yards and a touchdown. Other players around the country who have accepted invitations to the Shrine Bowl include Kentucky quarterback Devin Leary, Louisville running back Jawhar Jordan, Florida offensive lineman Kingsley Eguakun, and LSU defensive tackle Jordan Jefferson.

As far as other all-star games, wide receiver Johnny Wilson, tight end Jaheim Bell, and defensive tackle Braden Fiske are scheduled to participate in the Senior Bowl. This year will mark the 99th edition of the East-West Shrine Bowl. The game will take place at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas on February 1 and will be televised on the NFL Network.

Former FIU linebacker Antwan Barnes is a college graduate — finally. It happened last month — a dozen years after he played the best game of his NFL career, sacking Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco four times. It happened exactly two decades after he got his high school diploma from Miami’s Norland High, where he helped lead the Vikings to their first state title. And it happened a full nine years after he was cut by the New York Jets, effectively ending his football career. Barnes wore his cap and gown at FIU on Dec. 11.
