Orlando Magic HC Message There Upcoming Opponent Team,Been Ready To Face Them ….

Magic HC Sends A Message As Team Reaches Notable Mark

The Orlando Magic are one of the youngest franchises in the NBA.

For most of their history, they’ve struggled to stay competitive outside of the Shaquille O’Neal and the Dwight Howard era.

The fans have watched this team struggle more often than not.

That’s why it was so nice to see that they reached 43 wins for the season, their most in the past 13 years.

With that in mind, coach Jamahl Mosley tipped his hat to his team, stating that he was very excited for the organization and the fan base (via Bally Sports Florida).

“It’s so exciting for this organization, for this fanbase, which has waited a long time to have a group of young men that represent the game the right way,” Mosley said

Even though their record was far from impressive last season, they had already shown glimpses of this potential.

Former No. 1 pick Paolo Banchero looks like a legitimate generational player and building block, and they’ve put together one of the most dynamic and versatile rosters in the game

The Magic’s jumbo lineups with big men playing like guards and guards playing like big men have turned them into a matchup nightmare, with five guys who can switch on defense and knock down shots on offense.

Of course, they’re still either a piece or a couple of years away from being an NBA championship-caliber team.

But with all their available cap space and the way they’ve built and developed this impressive group of young players, the future finally seems quite bright for one of the few franchises that has never won an NBA championship in their history.

Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac took to social media to blast the White House for celebrating Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday – before walking his comments back when he realized it always falls on March 31.

Isaac, 26, took to Twitter on Saturday to decry President Joe Biden‘s proclamation of International Transgender Day of Visibility on the same day as one of the most important holidays in Christianity.

‘They want you to hate! This helps no one and only promotes division,’ Isaac tweeted. ‘They know exactly what they are doing…

‘We should be angry but shouldn’t lose the spirit of what tomorrow means! Don’t lose focus. Because He is risen there is hope for all.’

Nearly an hour later, Isaac realized that the holiday has been celebrated on the exact same day each year – leading to him publishing a retraction.

The Magic are currently in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 42-30. They are three games clear of the NBA Play-In Tournament and have a real shot at moving up more in the standings. Currently, they are only 1.5 games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers for fourth place and homecourt in the first round of the playoffs.

How did the Magic get to this point? A lot of people will point out reigning Rookie of the Year Paolo Banchero as a big reason why. He made his first NBA All-Star Game this season, as he is the leader of a very impressive group of young players.

Franz Wagner has the look of a future All-Star, while Jalen Suggs is coming into his own, showing real improvement with his 3-point shooting. Six different players are averaging double-digit points per game this season, as the Magic take a team approach to offense.

But, their offense isn’t what intimidates opponents. They are only 23rd in the NBA in offensive rating and 26th in points per game. Where Orlando makes their hay is on the defensive side of the ball, where they have turned into one of the most elite teams in the league.

As shared by NBA University on X, the Magic have been the stingiest defense in the league since the All-Star break. They have a defensive rating of 106.8 in that span, which is in first place. To put into perspective how good that is, the last place Utah Jazz has a defensive rating of 120.9.
